Berlin clears it up The model Berlin 400 has a pumping capacity of 10,000 to 20,000 l/h. It is suitable for pools and ponds up to 50,000 liters in volume. Thanks to its robust and weather-resistant construction (resistant down to - 40°C), it can be used for problem-free cleaning and aeration of outdoor ponds.
Successful skimming in ponds It's difficult to efficiently skim lipids in fresh water. In the past, algae, fish excrement, and bacteria were at best only poorly retained by the fine air bubbles. The developed scum was not stable enough to match the performance of the saltwater version. That has changed, thanks to our Berlin and SWAT skimmers. The standard model SWAT 160, with a pumping capacity of 1,500 to 5,000 l/h, is ideal for pools, aquariums, and ponds up to a volume of 10,000 liters (depending on the stock density).
The Galaxy - our GREATEST! Our Galaxy is the giant of saltwater skimmers. It is available in 3 sizes and suitable for aquariums and tanks with a capacity of 100,000 to 400,000 liters. It was developed in 1997 for the SeaWorld in Fehmarn. The following year, the Galaxy was certificate by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest skimmer at that time. For almost 20 years now, it has been keeping the water in the SeaWorld shark tank clean. The Galaxy series is used in large saltwater aquariums and fish farms.
Do it right – use Skimmers This series of skimmers has been developed specially for aquariums and aquaculture. They are characterized by quiet and reliable operation, low maintenance, and a very long lifespan. Some of these skimmers have been removing lipids from water for more than 23 years now. This proves yet again that you can save money by buying quality.
Skimmers - Whisk for clean water Skimmers remove proteins and lipids along with the associated bacteria, algae, and many other adhering substances from water. The method is relatively simple. Very fine air bubbles are released into the waste water, producing a foam. This foam gathers at the surface and can be easily removed along with the adhering organic substances. This efficient technique has been used in saltwater filtration for decades. For many years, this technique was not as efficient as desired for fresh water filtration - but thanks to new bubbling technologies, this has changed. Our Berlin and Swat skimmers were among the first fresh water skimmers on the market with performance comparable to that of saltwater skimmers. Furthermore, skimmers also enrich the water with oxygen and stabilize the pH. By adding ozone, you can use the skimmer for efficient disinfection of the water and reduce the bacteria load.
